Meet our team

  • Rebeca R

    Founder

Following the biggest and best example of service and love that we have, Jesus on Earth, this foundation has its basis on excellence, love and service with non-discrimination to all those who need a friendly hand of empowerment in crisis circumstances or crucial situations, where said hand allows us to cope with that goal and grows up to be able to assist.

My inspiration: the biggest legacy that my mother left me, education and values. It could happen, we could lose thousands, stuff, and all our material things many times, but through education and values it could be rebuilt over and over again. Empowering through Education as my mother empowered me to be able to serve, presently, to thousands of communities around the world.

    Treasurer

Roberto José Ruiz Castro, was born in San José, Costa Rica. Business administrator, baker and pastry chef. He grew up in a family of artisans and has dedicated himself to the trade and administration of the El Maná Bakery and Pizzeria alongside his father, following the legacy in memory of his mother. His passion is creating and innovating products and services. He loves his community and is always looking for ways to get involved in serving and helping others. He has followed in the footsteps of the growth and service of the Talita Cumi CR foundation since its begining in Costa Rica in 1997 and has served as treasurer of the Board of Directors since 2020. The vision of Talita Cumi CR has impacted many lives so that they can study, learn and perform their jobs in a better way, guaranteeing them a better lifestyle or in many cases the beginning of a life that without the help of education there might have been. It has been very difficult to know and even undertake and that is why we do our work with excellence and dedication without distinctions of any kind.

They are my favorite pets. I am fun loving, cheerful, and happy. I hope, with God's help, to be genuine again.
