It's the time of the year where we recognize the importance of friends, family, community and all those in our lives. After all, what would life be without others in it to share what he have it with?

Unfortunately, not everyone is as blessed and lucky as we'd hope. There are many fellow humans who will sadly spend this holiday season in loneliness, scarcity or sadness. Without anyone by their side, or much to give to the few special individuals in their life (for as much as they'd like to make them smile, if only for one moment). Some won't get to feel what it's like to have another human being care for them, validating them as a person of worth and dignity. Instead, wondering what they did to deserve being left alone or if something is just wrong with them that would cause others to turn their backs at them. These are well meaning people with big hearts... some adults, some children, and some elderly. Can we ourselves really experience the holidays to the fullest knowing that out there beyond our homes good people and their families (who struggle every day for just a meal) won't even get a chance to feel a momentary spark of happiness, in the happiest time of the year?

So what better way to celebrate this season's spirit than by spreading the love, joy and prosperity to those who need it most? You could give essential presents to help like food, toys or clothing. However, you can make a bigger impact in a person's life by gifting them a better FUTURE. It takes the same generosity and actually helps someone escape their situation permanently. It's often easy to forget how valuable something is when we've had it for a long time, let alone if we've never had a lack of it. This goes for friends, family, work, health, love and many things in life. And it is specially true of the very thing that empowers us to create a great and prosperous life for ourselves.
